There is no better way to learn about the skin than to dive down beneath the layers and see it first hand in photorealistic 3D!
I hate to break it to you, but Jennifer isn’t real! Although at Nirvana Studios, we have all fallen in and out of love with Jennifer – she is a photorealistic, 3D representation. We created Jennifer to explore and teach Boots No7 and Liz Earle advisors the science below the skin and the science behind their products.
Jennifer has had a troubled time, suffering from unhealthy, unbalanced skin, with ailments such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, age and sun damage – to name but a few! Creating Jennifer both internally and externally meant we could show both the physical changes on the outside as well as explain the more abstract scientific fundamentals within. Constructed in Blender and rendered with the powerful GPU-accelerator; Redshift, we were able to achieve this heightened realism and believability.
good skin = confidence
Attaining this level of realism from our 3D model meant educating our audiences became not only believable but their enthusiasm for the subject matter; contagious. Wrapped inside the Rise Articulate Learning Platform, thousands of staff members would login to watch our videos, participate in quizzes and discussions, ensuring they were equipped in store to give the advice and expertise Boots prides themselves on internationally.
