This episodic documentary style series shows an insight into the Vodafone Giants, their gaming background, individual personality traits, but most importantly, their time here in our country’s capital; London! Red Bull gave us a single day to visit the city and film 4x episodes which could be edited (also within a day), delivered and played at their live stream event.
After a successful reception, we were invited to the one and only USA to follow Europe’s best Gamer; Jukeyz in a newly spawned series, ‘See Me In N.A.’ The hurculan pre-production tasks included everything from VISA approvals, Schedules and Travel Plans, Crew Selection, Competitor Shortlisting, Gaming Locations and Travel Hotspots!
We began our journey in Liverpool, Jukeyz hometown. Capturing his childhood, his neighbourhood and hearing his entrance into pro gaming. Following the star to London for a practice match again Benny Central before we were off to America to challenge the World’s Best Gamers across NY, L.A and Texas!

HoW IT WenT
Planning these kinds of filming days and trips are extremely challenging as there are so many elements to consider. In London, all filming locations , transport and execution was down to us at Nirvana Studios. We got our heads together and scheduled the day to the nearest second.
Traveling from the London Eye to Olympic Park (Boris Bikes), from the Four Quarters Gaming Bar to F Cooke; Hoxton’s historical Pie & Mash restaurant. What gives more insight into sights, sounds and flavors of London? On the ‘This is my Home Ground’ project with a crew and cast that big, a 16 seater bus was arranged. Off we went! Whizzing around the city on our Magical Mystery Tour!
Then overseas? Well, the proof was certainly in the planning on this one. Not only did we need to be there recording when the action unraveled but we needed to be nimble and near our editors at all times so footage could be dropped and episodes worked up immediately! We also had the slight technical challenges of capturing the stream footage and syncing between 4 players, across two 4 web cams and 2 additional cameras 🙂
But boy did we get to see some sights! There were almost too many highlights to mention (but we will!)
L.A.
Drone flying a surf lesson on Malibu Beach
Filming the skateboarders at Venice,
Hollywood Sign as our backdrop from the Griffith Observatory
Following the steps of the stars along Hollywood Boulevard
Texas
Soaking up the culture, sights and sounds of Deep Ellum
Fort Worth Stockyards Bull Run and Cowboy Saloons
Terry Blacks Texas BBQ
New York
Night Time on Times Square
All 103 floors of the Empire State
The Big Apple Historical Bus Tour
We were infatuated with both our projects and can’t wait for our next Red Bull adventure!

Whizzing round London from one location to another to capture as much footage as possible.
In Liverpool and London during the filming of ‘See Me in N.A.’, we organised to film ground footage at many different locations in Liam’s hometown as well as Drone footage to take the documentary to a different level.
We absolutely loved both projects and can’t wait for our next Red Bull adventure!
