Tesco: Journey to Greener groceries (docuseries)
Environmental video production in London, UK.
We’ve trampled the country far and wide filming a cinematically unfiltered docuseries (candid, Louis Theroux style) for TESCO: THE JOURNEY TO GREENER GROCERIES.
From net zero operations, innovative supply chains to packaging and food waste, healthy & sustainable diets. All can be watched on the Guardian website!

2025 is a significant milestone in Tesco’s sustainability journey
The ambition was to create a content series that felt significantly different to any of the previous videos Tesco had done, bringing the sustainability commitments to life in an authentic, engaging way.
As well as keeping the Docuseries authentic, a journey of discovery and reprisal, we still wanted to achieve high production values.
As a result, Nirvana entered this project with two caps; one is keeping the narrative content and story both honest and candid and the other in ensuring a first-class visual experience and pace, securing audience retention throughout the 5-mins episode duration.

The sun was shining and those strawberries were thriving! Filming amongst millions of succulent strawberries could not have smelt sweeter. Arundel, where we left our hearts, especially at Wicks Farm. Supply chains are crucial in getting items on to shelves and vertical farming is saving space, water and emissions.Â

We all want to eat a little healthier, but what impact does a healthier diet have on the health of the planet? The link is closer than you might think! In our final day filming we made it into the development kitchen where we taste tested some devine dishes conjured up by head chef Ollie!

The ExecutioN
Living and breathing a project is sometimes the way forward and roaming around the UK together as one team was certainly the way to do it! We worked together, ate together and slept together (in separate rooms).
During the entire two weeks we had many crew members, those filming the main episode, those capturing BTS, B-Roll and social content, a photographer to capture stills and editors working around the clock to get rough cuts in front of the client as we went.Â
